Cause of the Month

Acts 20:35

"In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

At American Lutheran Church, we believe in being active members of our Community. All year long we support a cause of the Month and give our love, service and generosity to help make a difference in the lives of everyone in our Community.

World Vision

Jhoel S. Palmadera Guerrero from Peru is the child our youth group sponsors through World Vision.  World Vision is Christian based, started in 1950 by Bob Pierce with five dollars out of his own pocket.  They address the root causes of children’s vulnerability, empowering children and their families, and communities to break free from poverty.
