At American Lutheran Church, we believe in being active members of our Community. All year long we support a cause of the Month and give our love, service and generosity to help make a difference in the lives of everyone in our Community.
Lutheran Family Services
The Social Concerns Committee selected the Lutheran Family Services (LFS) Well-being Box Program for the Cause of the Month. Both monetary donations and supplies/items are requested throughout October to support this program. These gifts will assist LFS clients with everyday needs. Supplies gathered for the Well-being Box are provided to LFS clients in several programs.
In October, American Lutheran Church is urging your support for this program. The most needed items are:

New items are requested.LFS strives to give their program participants respect, dignity, and
something they need.A Well Being Box will be in the Narthex for collection of items.Look for flyers
that provide a cleaning supply kit shopping list that can be used while you are shopping for your
own cleaning needs.Please consider buying one or two items from the shopping list.A complete
list of cleaning supplies is valued at about $100.The Social Concerns Committee is challenging ALC
to fill five boxes – one for every week in October.Our contribution will mean so much to LFS clients.
