At American Lutheran Church, we believe in being active members of our Community. All year long we support a cause of the Month and give our love, service and generosity to help make a difference in the lives of everyone in our Community.
Kicks 4 Kids Nebraska
Kicks for Kids Nebraska is a non-profit organization based in Lincoln who works to provide new shoes to children in need in the Lincoln and Lancaster area schools. They have distributed over 7,800 pairs of shoes. Service kids in more than 40 schools, they partner with homeless student advocates to provide shoes to children who otherwise aren’t being served due to their living situation. The need for shoes continues to grow each year. Please consider helping to provide a necessary item to help kids succeed. You can done either via offering plate or using our online cause of the month fund.
Upcoming Event Kicks for Kids Fun Run at James Arthur Vineyard on August 22, 2026 starting at 8:30 a.m. This family friendly event offers a 5k course winding through a beautiful setting. Fun Run proceeds help us provide shoes to children in our local Lincoln and Lancaster County grade schools. Options are available for all ages and for the adults there is a wine options available.
